April 20, 2013, woke up to the sounds of geese honking.  The geese have been very vocal this year, almost as if you can hear their disdain towards the weather.  This poor mother goose was building her nest a few days ago in a small area of water that wasn’t covered in ice.  The female sat in the freezing cold water building a nest, while the male stood behind her honking away for hours.

The air is cold enough to see your breath.

The water is rising pretty quick.  Every hour there are noticeable changes in the waterscape.
